ABOUT
NexBook is a textbook rental company that allows students to access resources for their classes and tests in the secondary level. There is a wide variety of materials available on this website like AP prep books, SAT/ACT prep books, flashcards and more.
The purpose of the company is to alleviate the costs of books for students. The books on the website are donated and sold to the company from upperclassmen and alumni who have completed the courses.
The books will assist students to understand the content in their classes better. Therefore, the students who bought the book and don't want to throw them away can give back to the community and our company where we can use the books many times.
How it works
All items are going to be tracked with a Barcode in CCSD & DPS system. For more information regarding Shipping & Pick Up, please refer to FAQ and Rental/Shipping Agreement.
Credit card and PayPal options are available when checking out the rented items. After a customer has made a purchase on the website, an email will be sent to the customer with the confirmation of the order.
The product arrival will vary depending on the school that is holding it. The shipping takes 48 hours at most, and many products will be ready to be picked up the next day.
Number of items:
A maximum of 4 items may be rented at a time, for the purpose that other high school students can rent items.
Fines:
If a student rented and item and were not to return it in a timely manner then he/she will be fined at will be flagged within the school system and the student will not be able to graduate if they have not paid off their dues on the rental books. The cost of the product for fines will determine of the quality of the product before the handling of the customer.
Overdue items:
If a student doesn't return the rented item(s) 15 days after the due date a FINE will come into effect.
